Solar panels

Solar energy is a clean energy source and it is possible to transform it into electrical energy through photovoltaic panels, which are made up of a set of cells in which, through the photovoltaic effect, the radiation received from the sun is converted into electrical energy. The photovoltaic module is connected to the conventional electrical network through an inverter, achieving an energy exchange between the electrical network and the photovoltaic system.

Solar panels transform solar energy during the day into electricity so that it can be used.

So far there are 3 types of systems:

  1. The Interconnected System; This system is connected to CFE by means of a bidirectional meter, which counts those sent by the panel system to the CFE network, and the consumption that is not taken directly from the panel system (it is at night or when the production of the system does not cover the total electricity consumption);

  2. The Autonomous System or Island; This system is completely independent from CFE and completely depends on the production of the system and its storage;

  3. The Hybrid System; This system is a combination of both systems, it is interconnected to the CFE network, but in case the power goes out and it is stored in batteries, electrical devices can still be used.
